Q. Who can use the Infotext service?
All Vodacom and MTN users.
 
Q. Is punctuation accepted?
Punctuation in KEYWORDS and PARAMETERS will not be recognised when requesting information. Neither will spaces between words. Eg. Weather Cape Town today should be WEATHER CAPETOWN TODAY
 
Q. How long will I wait to receive the information?
The response should be sent to your cell phone within a minute, depending on how busy the network is.
 
Q. If I do not receive a response, what should I do?
Call the call centre on 082 232 7400 with details. I.e. Cell no, specific request and time of request or email helpdesk@itouch.co.za
 
Q. How will I know if I have typed in the wrong or unavailable keyword?
Infotext will send you an error message informing you that you have put in a wrong request, and will direct you on how to enter it correctly.
 
Q. Who do I contact if I have a query?
You can call the iTouch Call Centre on 082 232 7400 between 8am and 6pm, 7 days a week, or e-mail us at helpdesk@itouch.co.za
 
Q. How much will I be charged for using infotext?
A premium SMS rate of R2.00 (incl. VAT) is charged for both Vodacom and MTN.
 
Q. What do I do if I want to receive information that is not currently available?
